The ABB 3BSE013230R1 is a TU810V1 Compact Module Termination Unit (MTU) for the S800 I/O system. It is a passive unit designed for connecting field wiring to I/O modules. This MTU also integrates a part of the ModuleBus, distributing it to the I/O module and the next MTU. Furthermore, it generates the correct address for the I/O module by shifting the outgoing position signals.

Two mechanical keys are utilized to configure the MTU for different types of I/O modules, offering 36 different configurations. This mechanical configuration does not affect the functionality of the MTU or the I/O module.
